FINLAND/NORWAY GRAND PRIX

TIBOR NEMECEK (KING'S LYNN LIGHTNING) started the day at the top of the leaderboard and ended it by stretching his lead slightly, despite a slow start to this round, by winning the Finland/Norway GP.  Behind him FILLIPPE CHONG (WANTAGE KINGS) and BORIS DVOYNEV (MOSCOW MOTHS) both maintained their title challange by reaching the Grand Final.  3rd in this round was StEEN ERIKSEN (LANARKSHIRE LIONS) who moves up a couple of places overall to put himself within striking distance of the top 8 positions.

BOGUSLAW KRYZNOWEK (MILTON KEYNES CATS) and MACIEJ TERCJAK (WOLSTON WARRIORS) both reached the Semi Finals and strengthened their overall standings slightly.  The others to extend their meeting to a 6th heat were RICKY ANTUNOVICH (BOTTSEFORD BULLETS) and HAYDEN WOOD (LANARKSHIRE LIONS) with the pair both staying in the same places on the overall leaderboard, 7th and joint 8th overall.

From the rest it was a bad round for KENNI ALGREEN (WANTAGE KINGS) who drops a place overall, now 12 points behind the series leader in 5th, and GABRYS IRZYK (NEWMARKET RAIDERS) who started the day in 6th and has now fallen to a share of the all important 8th spot which will guarantee GP racing next season.  The Wild Card for this meeting was Czech rider PETR MARKO (BOTTESFORD BULLETS) who scored just 3 points, 2 gifted as a result of exclusions and the other over reserve Ove Dalasen after Jack Hagen had missed the 2 minute time limit, but he was on the pace and will have gained good experience on the international stage ahead of the GP Challenge Semi Finals to come later in the year.
