Tilbury's Shane Forbes rode to an immaculate 15 point maximum to win this season's Juvenile Jaunt. He gated superbly in all of his races and was never troubled. Behind him Kyle Simmons of Bottesford took second place on the podium finishing the meeting with three excellent wins. In third place was Riley Payne from Milton Keynes who was probably the pre-meeting favourite. He started well but a third place in his race against Forbes put paid to his chances of winning the title. He rallied well to win his final two rides to grab a spot on the rostrum.

 

Of the other riders Tommy Barnes (Newmarket) and Jay Patterson (Necrons) rode steadily to both score 9 points and will both move up into the AL next season. Simon Saunders (Reading) had two wins in his 8 points and four second places for Oliver Courtney (Durham) meant he also finished on 8 but has the honour of being the top Northern rider in the Final. Whether these two riders move up next season remains to be seen at the moment.
